India worships more than 33 million Gods and Goddesses. Lord Krishna is considered to be the Supreme Personality of Godhead. I delved into this religion nine years ago to understand the teachings of Lord Krishna. I found out that Krishna Bhakti was brought to the West by Srila Prabhupada in 1966. Today, there are millions of Krishna devotees around the world.The process of enlightenment in Krishna Consciousness begins with Faith and ends with Union. I aim to portray these two words in my work, not as a transcendental belief but as a harmony of love, laughter, faith, and union shared amongst the devotees and shared with the Lord Himself.

In London, 2018, I conversed with the devotees at the Hare Krishna Soho temple, Bhaktivedanta Manor, and celebrated a festival in Newbury to explore this beautiful religion. I tried to capture its harmony as seen by the world, and its moments of stillness that Krishna Bhakts experience in unison with the people around them. This, in my opinion, encapsulates the true meaning of Krishna Consciousness.
