Bio

Yashaswi Dugar is a contemporary art practitioner from Calcutta, India. She specialises in expanded paintings and photography that are detail-oriented and rooted in realism.

Yashaswi’s interest revolves around social issues and human relationships. Her work draws upon her insider-outsider perspective - as a modern multicultural woman; having lived across seven countries; rebelling against discriminating societal constructs through geographies.

“Hope is the thing with feathers”, Art presents her with that hope in life. In her free time, one can find her flaneuring down uncharted paths, observing quiet moments in time, with a camera at bay.
